The 2010–11 season marked a triumphant return to glory for AC Milan, as the club secured its 18th Serie A title, ending a seven-year drought. Under the leadership of new head coach Massimiliano Allegri, who replaced Leonardo, Milan dominated the league, clinching the Scudetto on 7 May with a 0–0 draw against Roma. It was a season characterized by the stellar contributions of forwards Zlatan Ibrahimović, Alexandre Pato, and Robinho, who each netted 14 goals in Serie A. Ibrahimović was the standout performer overall, finishing as the team’s top scorer across all competitions with 21 goals.
In addition to their domestic league success, Milan competed in the UEFA Champions League but were eliminated in the Round of 16 by Tottenham Hotspur. Their Coppa Italia campaign ended in the semi-finals at the hands of Palermo, preventing a domestic double.
This season also saw Milan begin a new partnership with shirt sponsor Fly Emirates, marking a fresh commercial chapter for the club. Allegri’s tactical approach and the blend of experienced stars and dynamic attacking talent reinvigorated a squad that had underachieved in prior seasons.
