The 2014–15 season was a challenging one for AC Milan, as the club endured one of its least successful campaigns in recent memory. In Serie A, Milan finished a disappointing 10th place, well below expectations and far from contention for European qualification. Their Coppa Italia run offered little solace, ending in the quarter-finals. Jérémy Ménez emerged as the team’s standout performer, finishing as the club’s top scorer in both the league and all competitions with 16 goals.
Despite Inzaghi’s efforts to reinvigorate the squad, Milan’s performances highlighted deeper issues within the team structure and strategy. This transitional season underscored the need for significant rebuilding to restore the club’s former glory.
