The 2023–24 season marked Al-Nassr’s 48th consecutive year in Saudi Arabia’s top football division and their 68th overall. Competing in the Pro League, King’s Cup, AFC Champions League, Arab Club Champions Cup, and Saudi Super Cup, the season spanned from 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024.
Cristiano Ronaldo dominated the season, scoring a record-breaking 35 goals in the Saudi Pro League, the highest ever in a single campaign. His feat against Al-Ittihad on 27 May 2024, where he netted his 34th and 35th goals, not only set this record but also made him the first player to finish as top scorer in four different leagues. Ronaldo ended the season with an astounding 50 goals in all competitions, further cementing his legendary status.
Under head coach Luís Castro, Al-Nassr finished second in the Pro League and were runners-up in the King’s Cup. They reached the quarter-finals of the AFC Champions League and the semi-finals of the Saudi Super Cup. The club celebrated triumph in the Arab Club Champions Cup, adding a prestigious trophy to their cabinet. Despite falling short in some competitions, Ronaldo’s exceptional season elevated Al-Nassr’s global reputation and ensured a memorable campaign for the club.
