The 2010–11 season was a historic one for Futebol Clube do Porto, as the club claimed their 25th Primeira Liga title, securing it with a pivotal 2–0 victory over rivals Benfica on 3 April. Under the management of André Villas-Boas, who replaced Jesualdo Ferreira in July 2010, Porto also completed a remarkable treble by winning the Taça de Portugal and the UEFA Europa League.
In addition, Porto triumphed in the Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira, further cementing their dominance.
Porto’s league performance was outstanding, finishing as champions, with forward Hulk leading the charge as the team’s top scorer with 23 goals. However, in the Taça da Liga, the club was eliminated in the third round. In Europe, Porto’s Europa League campaign was exceptional, culminating in a 1–0 win over Braga in the final. Radamel Falcao emerged as the club’s overall top scorer with 39 goals across all competitions.
