Olympiacos FC 01/02 – Home Shirt

In the 2001–02 season, Olympiacos celebrated their 76th year of existence and competed in their 43rd consecutive season in the Alpha Ethniki, the top tier of Greek football. Under the leadership of newly appointed head coach Takis Lemonis and chairman Sokratis Kokkalis, the team played their home matches at the Athens Olympic Stadium. Olympiacos enjoyed a successful domestic campaign, finishing as champions of the Alpha Ethniki, while also reaching the final of the Greek Cup, where they finished as runners-up.

In European competition, the club participated in the UEFA Champions League for the fifth consecutive season, though they were eliminated in the group stage. Alexis Alexandris emerged as the standout performer, finishing as the team’s top scorer with 19 goals in the league and 32 in all competitions.
