The 2025–26 season marks Manchester City’s 131st year of existence and their 24th consecutive campaign in the English top flight. The club will compete in the Premier League, FA Cup, EFL Cup, and the UEFA Champions League, entering Europe’s top competition for the 15th straight season.
Notably, this season begins a new chapter for City, as it’s their first without Kevin De Bruyne since 2014–15, following his departure at the end of his contract. It also marks the first time since 2020–21 that the club starts a Premier League season without being the reigning champions.
