The 2018–19 season marked Paris Saint-Germain’s 46th professional season and their 45th consecutive year in the top-flight of French football. It was also the first season since 2010–11 without Thiago Motta, who retired after the previous campaign.
Under head coach Thomas Tuchel, PSG secured the Ligue 1 title, finishing as champions. They also triumphed in the Trophée des Champions but were runners-up in the Coupe de France. In the Coupe de la Ligue, they reached the quarter-finals, and in the UEFA Champions League, they were eliminated in the Round of 16.
Kylian Mbappé was the standout player, finishing as the league’s top scorer with 33 goals and overall top scorer for the season with 39 goals across all competitions.
