PSG 21/22 – Home Shirt

The 2021–22 season marked Paris Saint-Germain’s 52nd year in existence and 48th consecutive season in the top flight. The club, led by head coach Mauricio Pochettino, made major moves in the summer transfer market, signing Lionel Messi, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Sergio Ramos, and Georginio Wijnaldum, among others, while rejecting a €200 million bid for Kylian Mbappé. Despite high expectations, PSG won the Ligue 1 title but were eliminated from both the Coupe de France and the UEFA Champions League at the Round of 16 stage. In the Champions League, they suffered a dramatic 3–2 aggregate loss to Real Madrid after leading 1–0 in the first leg. In the Trophée des Champions, PSG were runners-up. Kylian Mbappé was the club’s top scorer, with 28 goals in Ligue 1 and 39 in all competitions.
