The 2013–14 season marked a historic year for Real Madrid, clinching their 10th UEFA Champions League title, also known as “La Décima”, with a 4–1 extra-time victory over Atlético Madrid in the final. Under manager Carlo Ancelotti, they also won the Copa del Rey with a 2–1 victory over Barcelona. Real Madrid finished 3rd in La Liga, just behind Atlético Madrid. Cristiano Ronaldo was the team’s top scorer with 51 goals in all competitions, leading the attacking trio BBC alongside Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema.
