The 2017–18 season was a historic one for Real Madrid, as they secured an unprecedented third consecutive UEFA Champions League title, becoming the first club to achieve this feat twice. Madrid also won the Supercopa de España, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup. Despite finishing third in La Liga, Cristiano Ronaldo was the club’s top scorer with 44 goals across all competitions. This marked his final season at the club after nine successful years. Manager Zinedine Zidane resigned after the season.
