The 1993–94 season marked Bayern Munich’s 94th in existence, with the club securing its 12th Bundesliga title. Managed by Erich Ribbeck until December, Franz Beckenbauer then took over mid-season and guided the team to domestic glory.

Despite their Bundesliga success, Bayern experienced disappointment in cup competitions. They were eliminated in the second round of the UEFA Cup and exited the DFB-Pokal in the Round of 16.

Mehmet Scholl and Adolfo Valencia were pivotal to Bayern’s campaign, with both finishing as the team’s top scorers. Scholl scored 11 goals in the Bundesliga and 13 in all competitions, sharing the spotlight with Valencia.

The 1994–95 season was Bayern Munich’s 95th in existence and 30th consecutive in the Bundesliga since their 1965 promotion. Managed by Giovanni Trapattoni, the campaign was marked by mixed fortunes.

In domestic competitions, Bayern fell short. They lost the DFB-Supercup to Werder Bremen and endured an early exit in the DFB-Pokal. Their Bundesliga season concluded with a disappointing sixth-place finish, failing to secure silverware.

In Europe, Bayern fared better, reaching the UEFA Champions League semi-finals before being eliminated by Ajax. Christian Ziege and Mehmet Scholl were the standout players, both scoring 12 goals across all competitions. Trapattoni departed after the season, later returning in 1996–97.
