The 2023–24 season marked Tottenham Hotspur’s 32nd in the Premier League. After finishing 8th in the previous season, they didn’t compete in Europe for the first time since 2009–10. Harry Kane’s departure to Bayern Munich marked a significant change for the club. Ange Postecoglou was appointed head coach in June 2023, and Son Heung-min replaced Hugo Lloris as captain. Tottenham finished 5th in the Premier League, reached the FA Cup fourth round, and were eliminated in the EFL Cup second round. Son was their top scorer with 17 goals in the league.
